I live on a lake and I would like to know what fruit trees I can plant. I live in South Florida and we have hurricanes...

Besides citrus, you can grow Atemoya (custard apple), Avocado, Banana, Caimito (star apple), Carambola (star fruit), Canistel (egg fruit), Jackfruit, Lychee, Mango, Papaya, Sugar Apple and Tamarind. While there's no guarantee they won't be damaged in a hurricane, they will perform well in your south Florida landscape. Enjoy!
