|Blackberries are winter hardy in your region but the roots might freeze if you leave the pot exposed. So, I suggest you simply dig a hole in the garden and sink the pot into the hole. The soil will help insulate the pot. Don't take the plant indoors - it needs to experience the winter weather so it can rest in anticipation of next spring's growth spurt. Best wishes with your blackberries!
