I moved into my first home Dec. of 08. It really needs weeding. Before I start, what do weeds look like?

The definition of a weed is: any plant growing where you don't want it to grow. If you aren't sure, wait and watch. You'll know in the spring and summer months whether or not the plants in question are weeds or desireable perennials. Or, check with your local cooperative extension office (513-925-1311?) for a color brochure of the weeds common to your particular region. You'll find a wealth of information through your extension office.
