I am up north to vsit,horseradish is planted in the ground,should i cut the broadleafs off to the ground for the winter months ?

Just leave the foliage on the horseradish plants alone. Winter weather will kill the tops and you can pull away the dead foliage in the spring, when new leaves begin growing. Until then, nothing needs to be done to your horseradish plants. Hope you have a great harvest!
