I have a Chinese Long Bean plant that I found at the local home improvment center. I have never found these plants in any of the centers around here. What I would like to know is there anyway I can grow this plant once the season is spent. Is there anyway to propagate the existing plant I have, and if so how would I do this. I really love the beans and I don't know where, or if I will find another.

There's a plant called Oriental Long Bean (Vigna unguiculata) that may be what you have. It's an annual plant that grows from black seeds. The pods it produces are edible and the seed is available from Abundant Life Seeds, P. O. Box 772, Port Townsend, WA 98368.
