You can feed your plants anytime they are actively growing. In Florida that can mean feeding as early as February and as late as November. Most plants are not actively growing in December or January so avoid fertilizer applications in those months. Generally a single application of fertilizer is all your plants need so choose a month of the year and stick to it. Exceptions are citrus trees and palms. These plants enjoy a dose of fertilizer every 3-4 months. With mine, I feed in February, April, July and November. Best wishes with your landscape!
