after the spiney orange spike flowers die do u wait and let them dry and fuzz or do i prune it off

Prune off the spent flowers and your crossandra will send up new flowering stems. If you don't remove the spent flowers it won't hurt the plant, but it won't develop as many flowers. Just snip those flower spike off the plant when they start to fade. Enjoy!
