|You can plant the bulbs but if they have been out of the ground for two years, they may not sprout. Bulbs are storage organs and the energy is depleted as they age. Without an opportunity to grow new foliage to recharge the bulbs with fresh energy, they will wither and die. You're taking a chance in planting them. I'd vote for tossing them out and planting fresh new bulbs.
