i would like to plant my new euonymus moonshadow around my small tree in my yard can i do that would it make a good ground cover for around my tree?

Sounds like a great plan! 'Moonshadow' makes a nice groundcover plant, growing a little over 1' tall. It is quite adaptable to soil types, watering and sun/shade so I think it's a good choice for planting around your tree. Best wishes with your euonymus.
