Plumbago blooms from spring through fall on new growth. When it stops producing flowers you can prune it back. The new growth it develops will flower when the weather warms in the spring. Bleeding heart can be pruned back at this time of year, as well. It, too, will flower when the weather warms. Enjoy your garden!
