Citrus trees are usually pest free. Sometimes leaf miners or thrips attack the leaves but their damage is minimal. Since most insecticides are insect specific, you'll need to identify any pests you find. If you're not sure, you can collect a few in a sealable plastic baggie and take them to a well staffed nursery or to your local cooperative extension office for identification. Helpful folks there can suggest controls. Good luck with your citrus trees.
