Hi there, I'd like to spruce up a room with a houseplant. The room has no direct sunlight. What do you recommend?

You don't actually need sunlight to successfully grow houseplants. Some good low-light candidates include parlor palms, Philodendron, Sansevieria, Schefflera, Dracaena and Dieffenbachia. Moderate-light plants include Ficus, Hoya, Fittonia, ferns, Fatsia and Peperomia. You might want to experiment a little with these plants to see which ones perform best for you. Enjoy your houseplants!
