there is a new bug attacking citrus and even causing quarantine in some areas. If that bug is attacking your trees what can you do except destroy the trees?

The Asian Citrus Psyllid is an aphid-like insect that feeds on the leaves and stems of citrus trees and other citrus-like plants ? but the real danger lies in that it can be a carrier of a deadly, bacterial tree disease called Huanglongbing (HLB) , also known as Citrus Greening Disease.

The USDA has a website with detailed information about this pest and how to detect it. It is of enough economic concern that they will inspect your tree for signs of the pest. Here's their website:
