|Poinsettias should be watered thoroughly and allowed to dry out slightly between waterings. When the top of the soil feels dry to the touch, it's time to water again. Poinsettias will begin to wilt when they need water. Try not to wait until they begin to wilt. Instead, check them everyday to make sure the top of the soil is just barely dry and use that as your cue to water. Best wishes with your poinsettias!
