|What time of the year should I cut back plants? ie: crepe myrtels, butterfly plants (can't think of the name); green shrubs in front

|January and February are the best times to prune your landscape trees and shrubs. That's when new growth will just be starting. Butterfly bushes and crepe myrtle both bloom on the new growth of the season so pruning just as new growth begins will promote lots of flowers. Enjoy!
