I have a sedum that a bought in the spring at HD and planted in a container in my covered terrace in NYC. I have pictures, but how do I care for them so they thrive in the spring? Sedum's flowers are dead and dried, but new growth at roots. Thanks, I would love to send the pictures

You can prune away the dead flowers on your sedum. It will stop growing during the winter months and the roots should be protected from freezing so move the pot to a protected corner of your terrace, out of icy winds. Next s0pring your sedum will begin to grow and flower again. Wish we could accept pictures through this forum, but there's just no way to do it! Sorry! Best wishes with your sedum!
