|I have just planted 2 palm trees that are about a foo and a half tall. Is there anything I can do that will give them a better chance to make it thru the winter other than wrapping them?

|Instead of wrapping, try a thick mulch over the roots (kept a few inches from the trunk so as not to hold too much moisture against the trunk) and then driving a couple of stakes into the ground a foot or so away from the palms and attaching burlap or other material to the stakes to block cold winter winds. I think that will help protect your plants from winter damage. Good luck with your palms.
