There are so many species of Ficus, that it's difficult to answer your question. None will be easy to keep at a 5' tall level. They prefer to grow 50-60 feet high and wide. While you may be able to keep them small for a few years, they will eventually overgrow the area. You might try growing Spicewood or Seagrape as a hedge rather than ficus. These plants remain 5' tall or under at maturity. Hope this information is helpful.
