December outdoors planting - Knowledgebase Question

We would like to plant some D.Mondo Grass on a slope,some Bermuda Sod in our yard and some Nandinas along side of our home. Is December a good time or should we wait,we are near Atlanta,Ga. Thanks,Ray

I'd wait until March to do any planting. Transplanting can be stressful on new plants and on sod. When the weather is cold they won't root well and can suffer some dieback. For the best performance possible, I'd wait until early spring to plant. Best wishes with your new plants!
