Hi, I got a Christmas Cactus in a planter when my mom died, 2 years ago. Last year, it got blooms on it..maybe 6 or so and they all fell off as buds. then again, then again and finally a few bloomed. Now it is doing it again this year. I have tried to keep it wet.. or keep it dry.. I don't understand why the blooms fall off.. any ideas? thanks so much

One of the most frustrating things that can happen to Christmas cactus is after the flower buds have developed they drop off the plant. Bud drop can be caused by anyone of several different conditions. Usually it's because of over-watering, lack of humidity or insufficient light.
