It's difficult to diagnose a plant problem without actually seeing the plant and knowing the care it has been receiving. In general, yucca plants are well adapted to dry soils and air. If the foliage shows a brown tip with a yellow halo you probably are over watering. If not enough water is being given to the plant the foliage will turn solid yellow or brown. Hope this is descriptive enough for you to determine just what the problem might be with your plant. Best wishes with your yucca.
