A clementine is the smallest of the mandarin oranges. A satsuma is a type of tangerine. In Louisiana you can grow satsumas such as Owari Satsuma, Armstrong Early Satsuma, Brown's Select Satsuma, Kimbrough Satsuma, Louisiana Early and Early St. Ann Satsuma or oranges such as Washington Navels, Louisiana Sweet, Hamlin Sweet, Pineapple Sweet, Plaquemine, Valencia, Ambersweet, or Moro Blood Oranges. Clementines typically do not grow well in Louisiana.
