When is the best time to prune plants that have suffered frost damage?

I'd wait until after the danger of frost is over for the season. Early spring, just as new growth begins, is the best time to prune away winter damage. If you prune it off now and there are a few days of warm weather, your plants will develop new growth, which will be susceptible to frost damage later in the winter. So, wait until spring to spruce up your yard.
