We are building a home and will be planting our entire lot. What are the best plants for NE TN? How much space do they need? Thank you VERY much!

Some of the most attractive plants for your region include Cone Flower, Daylilly,
Butterfly Bush, Bellflower, Candytuft, Lavender, Yarrow, Butterfly Weed, Coreopsis,
Balloon Flower, Iris, Catmint, Aster, Russian Sage, Stonecrop, Coral Bells, Coleus, (Japanese Painted Fern, Sage, Rosemary, Lenten Rose, Hosta, Astilbe, Hydrangea,
Dwarf Blue Fescue, Japanese Blood Grass, Miscanthus ( Maiden Grass), and Penesetum.
