snails in my straw? - Knowledgebase Question

i write to you and said I had snails in my garden last summer; that i pulled out the garden at end of summer and covered it w/ straw; and the mint I brought in later had a baby snail. you said expose the dirt in the garden. Can I move the straw somewhere else or is it already infected?

You should be able to use the straw elsewhere. I'd rake through it to expose any snails or snail eggs, let it sit for several days and rake through it again. Then you can move it to another part of your garden. Best wishes with your garden!
