Yellowing leaves can be normal - spider plants do eventually lose their oldest, lowest leaves - or it can indicate overwatering or lack of sufficient light. If the new growth is a healthy green, chalk the yellowing leaves up to the aging process and cut them off the plant. If the new growth is yellow, too, be careful with your watering and try moving the plant to a brighter location. Hope this information helps you determine just what might be going on with your spider plant.
