|Buffalo grass is a native grass in Colorado and you're likely to encounter it on a regular basis in your lawn. I'm afraid there are no chemical controls available for ridding your lawn of buffalo grass. Because it is a grassy weed, the only things effective against it will also harm your turfgrass. Digging out the clumps, roots and all, is the best approach. Try to do this before the grasses mature and spread their seeds. Wish there were an easier way to control this pesky weed!
