Seeds are typically started about six weeks prior to your average last frost date. In your region that's usually about mid-May. So purchase your seeds as soon as they become available in the garden centers, but don't start them until late March. They will be ready to go into the garden in mid- to late-May when both the soil and the air temperatures are warm. Hope you have a great harvest!
