The choices for most Texas homeowners are limited to St Augustine, Bermuda, Buffalo, Centipede, Tall Fescue, and Zoysia grasses. Each species has both positive and negative traits, but the most heat tolerant is Bermuda. It thrives in the sunshine and will remain green all summer long.
