I have eight new crepe myrtles (1 year old), and want to use rubber mulch to protect them from drought and cold. Your Vigoro rubber mulch comes in 2 cu.ft. bags. How many tree will it cover? Thanks.

Depending upon the size of the watering well or basin beneath each of your trees, a 2 CU FT bag of mulch should be enough for 1 and 1/2 or 2 trees. The mulch should be 3-4 inches thick after it is spread.
