Lilies never really stop growing, so you can move them virtually anytime. Wait until they're finished blooming, then carefully dig, divide if necessary, and replant. Set smaller bulbs 3-4 inches deep and larger bulbs 4-6 inches deep. Water well and mulch area with 2-3 inches of organic matter. Most other bulbs can be dug after the foliage has died down, usually in the fall months, and transplanted to new locations.
