I'm afraid conifers won't adapt to growing in Hawaii. Ironwood has a pine tree look, but is considered invasive so you may not be able to find any locally. Norfolk Island Pines are about the only tree that resembles a pine that will grow in your region. Wish I had better news for you! Thuja Green Giant arborvitae will grow in your area so you might be able to find them in your local garden center. It's worth asking the staff. Best wishes with your landscape.
