|If your peach tree normally provides you with tasty peaches but the crop was bad this year, it's probably weather related. Cold weather when the tree is in bloom can keep insects from pollinating the flowers. When this happens the fruit can abort when they reach 1-2 inches in diameter. Water stress is about the only other thing that will keep peaches from developing. I'd chalk up the experience to a bad crop year and expect the tree will produce normally next year. Hope so!
