I have hyacinths and I submitted a question about storing them until I can plant them. The process you told me about trying to force them to flower by putting in special vases.after this process I won't be able to plant them until october or december of 2010?

That's correct. Hyacinth bulbs should be planted in the ground in the fall where they can experience cold temperatures. They will develop roots and then foliage and a flower. If your bulbs did not get planted last fall their only hope of survival is if you force them to grow indoors and then plant them out next fall.
