|Can I start my veggie seeds indoors then move outdoors end of march or first week in april, will the plants be to tender to handle low 40 degree temps?

|The average last frost date in Charlotte is April second. Depending upon the types of veggies you are growing, most should tolerate going out the second week of April. By then the soil and the air temperatures should be above 40F. Warm season veggies such as tomatoes and peppers will suffer if the temperatures are lower so wait until things warm up before planting them. I usually wait until May to plant mine. Other veggies should be fine if set out the second week of April. Enjoy your garden!
