I need to find out what I can plant around my pool? I usually plant the oriental grass, but these have gotten so out of control that I had to dig them up. I want to plant something like them, but not as tall. What do you have in mind?

Some ornamental grasses can get out of hand but you might consider planting more well behaved ornamental grasses such as ophiopogon, liriope and maiden grass or small shrubs such as 'Harbor Dwarf' nandina and dwarf yaupon holly. Nandina looks similar to bamboo but without the invasive qualities. Hope these plants work for you!
