St. Augustine grass - Knowledgebase Question

With spring coming should I rake up the loose dead grass or leave it alone. Have spread St. Augustine weed and feed yesterday. Anything else I should do to prepare.

Since you've already broadcast fertilizer, I wouldn't rake the lawn now. You can wait about a month and then rake the dead grass out. This will give the fertilizer a chance to work its way down to the roots of the plants. Next spring, rake the lawn first and then apply your fertilizer. Hope you have a green, green lawn this year!
