I have a question concerning my lawn. I am concerned with how it is holding right now. I have St. Augustine grass and until this past year it was great. I fear that I might have burned it out with an application of fertilizer near the end of the year. Since then, the grass has obviously gone doormant. Should the grass come up easy?

St. Augustine is sensitive to salt burn but I suspect the roots are okay and you should see new growth when the weather warms up a bit. You won't know for another few weeks but the winter rain has certainly leached the fertilizer from the lawn by now. I think it will recover. Let's cross our fingers!
