I have a question concerning my lawn. I am concerned with how it is holding right now. I have St. Augustine grass and until this past year it was great. I fear that I might have burned it out with an application of fertilizer near the end of the year. Since then, the grass has obviously gone doormant. Should the grass come up easy? |
St. Augustine is sensitive to salt burn but I suspect the roots are okay and you should see new growth when the weather warms up a bit. You won't know for another few weeks but the winter rain has certainly leached the fertilizer from the lawn by now. I think it will recover. Let's cross our fingers! |
