what kind of shrubs shall I use in the front yard that are slowing growing and very pertty. I want something that is low maintaince and very classic.

Camellias are a wonderful choice, slow growing, lots of flowers, and glossy green leaves year around. Oregon grape is also evergreen and slow growing, as is Leucothoe. Enjoy your landscape!
