|Brown leaf tips can indicate overwatering, dry air, or salt build up in the soil. Plants grow more slowly in the winter months and therefore do not require as much water so make sure you are allowing the top of the soil to dry out between waterings. Dry indoor air can take its toll on plants as can tap water containing fluoride and/or chlorine. Either use bottled water or allow your tap water to set overnight before using it on your plants.
