| Fig trees do grow in the Phoenix area. Black Mission, Brown Turkey, Kadota and Conadria are the most popular varieties. Plant your tree in full sunshine, water it on a regular basis, and prune it (when necessary) in October after you've harvested the fruit. Fig trees are relatively easy to grow. Expect it to take 2-3 years after planting before it will produce fruit. Enjoy. |
