I bought a mix of perennial and annual wildflower seeds that I plan to broadcast over small areas of my lawn. Firstly, will they grow well under pines? And secondly, when is the best time to spread them? Is it still to early? I live in the Raleigh area.

Thanks!

Most wildflowers prefer full sunshine but your mileage may vary. I'd go ahead and broadcast them now - it's almost March - and they should sprout for you within3-4 weeks. Enjoy!
