LAWN SEEDING - Knowledgebase Question

I moved into a house and the lawn has had no care. It has areas where the lawn in non-existent. When can I seed and fertilize in north Georgia?

If you are seeding bermuda, June is an excellent time. If you are seeding a cool season grass such as fescue, Sept - Oct are the best months to plant. Here's a publication from the University of Georgia that may be of some help to you:
