| Fescue is the most widely planted turfgrass in the Dallas area, but St. augustine, bermuda, zoysia and buffalo grasses are also acceptable. If you want to seed your lawn, fescue and bermuda are most readily available. Be sure to prepare your soil prior to broadcasting the seeds.
