I live in Cedar Hill, TX on rock. There is a berm behind my hous where I would like to plant native plants, grasses and possibly cacti. Can I plant in spring? Any suggestions on types of plants? Colors? Thanks, Kat

You can plant in the spring and I found a database of possible plants for your garden on a Texas native plant society website: http://www.txnativeplants.org/

Just click on the plants that interest you and you'll get a photo and description of the plant. Enjoy browsing = I hope you find lots of suitable plants for your landscape!
