We have the tree in our sunroom that faces south. It is about 3' tall and was blooming when we bought it from the Home Depot garden center. How much water does it need indoors and should we feed it while it is blooming?

Keep the soil moist but not soggy wet. Maybe the best test is to water thoroughly until water freely flows out of the drainage holes then wait 5-6 days and stick your finger down into the potting soil. If it is still moist about an inch beneath the surface, you won't need to water for a few more days. If it feels dry, it's time to water. If you check it regularly you'll get an idea of how often you need to water. You can feed your tree with a half strength dilution of water soluable fertilizer once a month. I use Miracle Gro at a rate of one tablespoon per gallon of water. Best wishes with your new tree.
