I have a very large lawn with a variety of grasses but mostly St.Augustine. I don't have the money to sod my lawn and would like to appy seed. What can I spread that will take and go with the existing grass. I just need the yard to be green all over!!

Bermuda is the only warm season turf that you can seed so that would be my solution to the problem. It will be green except in the coldest months but if you feed your lawn in the fall, the St. Augustine should remain green during the winter. Hope this solves the problem!
