What is the best type of mulch to put around vegetables in my garden--Florida

You can use any organic matter to mulch your vegetable garden. Compost, shredded leaves, straw, newspapers or even cardboard. Whatever you use can be dug into the soil at the end of the season to help add nutrients to the soil. The only caution is in using grass clippings. They're not suitable if they've be exposed to weed killers or pesticides. Best wishes with your garden!
