Dwarf english laurel leaves - Knowledgebase Question

What would cause the leaves of dwf english laurel to go several shades lighter after three seasons? Noticed problem after planting new ones next to the older ones. Also, what would cause approx 1/4

Sounds like a nutritional problem to me. Try feeding with an acidified fertilizer (they prefer slightly acid soils). Hollytone is a good product to use. Landscape trees and shrubs need about an inch of water per week, even in the winter, and especially if yours are under the eaves of a roof where rainfall doesn't generally reach them. Feed them this spring in amounts as listed on the label and be sure to water once each week, even in the wintertime.
