I live in Houston, Tx, my backyard is full of palms ( my theme is tropical) This is the first winter that all my palms turned brown. Please, let me know when and how I should cut them. I am afraid that I going to loose a couple of them. Please, let me know what I need to do to help them. Thank you

Weather is probably to blame for the browning fronds. You can prune any dead fronds off your palms. As long as the bud in the center of the crown of the palm was not damaged, new fronds will develop from there. Only time will tell! Give them another 4-6 weeks to recover and you should see some new growth. Best wishes with your palms!
